Money...

I have to say this… I have greed for money. To have lots and lots of money.  I was told that this is not healthy, this greed of mine.

The funny thing, even though they said money is not important and going after lots of money is not good etc… At the end of the day, they end up asking for money.

It is important to bind family ties closer but travelling to see them need money.

Eating out, eating at home, buying food, doing groceries and treating guests need money.

When I go to someone house without bringing anything, I was told that is not a good behavior and I should bring something…  That too needs money.

When there are functions such as weddings and funerals, when we attend them, we need to give some token which is usually money.

It does get pretty annoying whenever I express my wish to get more money and to be shot down for that wish. Yet after that we will hear about bills to be paid, taking over someone else car’s payment, saving up money, buying presents, repairing house, buying stuff, getting new furniture, sending cats to vets and so on… How can you say money is not important then? Every day we hear these talks and when my wish for more money is surfaced, “Hush now boy, don’t get consume by your greed.”

Is it wrong to wish for more money so that we can do more stuff? Or my greatest dream is to have lots of money so that I spend more time doing stuff that I love. To me, money is a tool. I don’t mind if you don’t think money is not really that important or whatever you want to say but when it comes to the time when money is needed, don’t look at me and ask me to pay…

My Bride...

I am already at that age where everybody asks me when I will get married and shake their head with sadness when they know my age.

Some even said I am too choosy… Hmmmm…
Now my dear reader, don’t you think I should be a bit choosy? After all we are talking about committing yourself to a person for like your whole life. Who will be with you in happiness and sadness. When I am rich and when I am poor. When I am sick and healthy. From now until I am very old. Don’t you want someone with certain quality? The last person you see before you sleep and first person you see when you wake up. Your company and your partner.

I mean, you try to be quite choosy when you pick out candidates to work with you. At least if you are not happy with the person, you can fire him. Are you saying that I should divorce and marry a woman god knows many times in my life? I don’t think you will want your children to marry just anybody on the street, so please don’t say that to me as well.

When the time comes, I will marry that lady of my life…

Wedding…

Dear whoever is reading this…

I had been involved with lots of weddings lately… the best advice I can give for me who is going to get married as well as to any of you who will be doing the same:

Plan your wedding earlier and get someone who you can trust to execute and take care of it on your special day. Do bear in mind, this advice is meant for wedding in Malaysia and probably need to be change slightly according to your local customs.

By right, when you have thought of getting married, you should have some ideas how your wedding should be. Rough cost estimation depending on how fancy your wedding should be or will be. Who will be attending or rather who will be invited or have to be invited… and this entire plans of yours have to complement with your spouse’s ideas as well.

The floor manager, the ceremony keeper or whatever you call the person who overlook your precious wedding on that day HAVE TO BE SOMEONE YOU CAN TRUST and understand your wedding plans and needs very well. He will make sure everything is in order, prepared, all the stuff you need are easily accessible, all the important people will be there and briefed with whatever stuff you need them to do etc.

For some reasons, your immediate family members are not the best choice. This is because; they will also need to be the host, meaning they will have to greet the guests, takes photos with people, usher important guests, chat with other family relatives, receiving presents etc. the immediate family members are already occupied with these responsibility. Cousins or best friends will be better.

There this one wedding I attended, where the floor manager assigned was the bride’s sister. On the wedding day itself, instead of managing the wedding stuff, she went to beauty salon with her sister. It was quite a chaos after since nobody really knows what need to be done and stuffs were forgotten.

There was also this one time where the bride insisted to be the floor manager. That WAS A HUGE MISTAKE! She could not be around to oversee the whole wedding arrangement as she had to be elsewhere. She had to put on makeup and dress up. When she could go to the wedding, of course she came in as the bride and ushered to the stage. And the whole time on the stage, there was nothing much she could do. The wedding had lots of flaws due to the person in charge was sitting on the stage.

So if you really want a good sweet unforgettable wedding which you hope to happen only once in your life time, then think carefully. You really need to get help if you want to do a huge wedding. Unless you can come up with a plan for a small manageable wedding, don’t gamble your precious wedding and regret it later for the rest of your life.

It is me again...

Dear whoever read this…

Thank you for reading and still reading. It had been a long time since I last wrote something and post it here.

It is not because I don’t know what to write. Dear me, I do have a lot to share with you all.

Probably because there are just too many stuff that I want to share, dragging me to a snail pace.

Probably because a lot of the stuff that I wish to share need more time for me to ponder and ensure that when I post it, it is appropriate for you to read.

Also, I am always away from the internet due to the nature of my work.
Whenever I am connected to the internet though, I spent way too much time doing other stuff.

I am trying to push myself to write more for I wish to share more of my thought with all of you.

So there…

Temjin 747 8A

I had bought one Virtual On model, Temjin 747 8A last year, in October.

Also known as White Rainbow Knight, it is one of the most beautiful Temjin models I had seen in Temjin family.

This is also the first time I get myself a non Bandai model. After doing a lot of Gundams, thought I want to try on something non Gundam and since I had wanted to get my hand on the Virtual On for so long, I decided to get one.

Here is the box:

I google up Temjin 747 8A to get some tips on how to build the model and found that Hasegawa Virtual On models use lots and lots of decals.

No kidding.

Here are the decals for Temjin 747 8A:

Two sheets of wonderful detailed decals. Some are very very tiny… It was quite a nerve wrecking sight especially for me. I had never touch decals yet so far in my plastic model building life and this will pose to be my greatest challenge yet...
